Ⅳ. After You Fell
前回まで——圧倒的なミレアに封印寸前まで追い詰められたデザイラ。その刹那、正体不明の閃光がミレアの心臓を貫いた。
Previously — cornered by Mirea and moments from being sealed, Desira was spared when an unknown flash of light pierced Mirea’s heart.
デザイラとミレアの戦いは、ついに終結へと向かう。
The battle between Desira and Mirea finally moves toward its end.
絶体絶命の瞬間――ミレアを襲う、正体不明の閃光。
In a moment of utter desperation, a sudden flash of light pierces through Mirea.
その正体は分からない。だが確かなのは、その光がデザイラの命を救ったという事実である。
Its origin remains unknown. Yet one truth is undeniable — it saved Desira from certain defeat.
歓喜に震えるデザイラ。
Desira trembles in fierce triumph.
心臓を貫かれたミレアは、闇に包まれ、ゆっくりと闇と同化していく。
Pierced through the heart, Mirea is swallowed by darkness, her form dissolving into it.
当初、デザイラはそれを笑っていた。
At first, Desira laughed at the sight.
だが、闇へ沈みゆくミレアの瞳に浮かぶ涙を見た瞬間、胸の奥に違和感が走る。
But when she sees tears forming in Mirea’s fading eyes, something inside her shifts.
それは懇願だったのか。
Was it a silent plea?
それとも、抗えぬ悲しみだったのか。
Or merely the weight of unbearable sorrow?
その姿に、デザイラは自分自身を見てしまう。
In that collapsing figure, Desira sees a reflection of herself.
――その時。
And then—
病蝶モーファエルが現れる。
The plague-butterfly Morphael appears.
感情なき存在。
A being without emotion.
ただ依存の匂いを嗅ぎ取り、それを喰らい尽くすもの。
It senses attachment, obsession — and devours it completely.
モーファエルはミレアに強い依存の痕跡を感じ取り、襲いかかる。
Drawn to the intense dependency surrounding Mirea, Morphael descends upon her.
それは死の宣告に等しい。
Its arrival is nothing less than a sentence of death.
無数の蝶が闇を覆い、ミレアを取り囲む。
Countless butterflies swarm, engulfing her in suffocating darkness.
その光景に、デザイラは恐怖する。
Desira freezes in terror.
彼女もまた、モーファエルの真の恐ろしさを知っているのだ。
She too knows what Morphael truly means.
だが次の瞬間――
Then, in the next instant—
空間を裂く光と風。
A blade of light and wind tears through the air.
一人の気高き堕天使が姿を現す。
A noble fallen angel descends.
ミレアの上官、アストラエル。
Astrael — Mirea’s superior.
その一閃で、モーファエルは跡形もなく吹き飛ばされる。
With a single strike, Morphael is scattered into nothingness.
闇の眼と化したミレアを抱き上げ、アストラエルは静かに背を向ける。
Cradling the dark-eyed Mirea, Astrael turns away without hesitation.
すれ違いざま、彼女はデザイラに告げる。
As she passes Desira, she speaks only once.
“Your little game ends here.”
――お遊びは、ここまでである。
その圧倒的な格の違いに、デザイラはただ立ち尽くす。
Overwhelmed by the difference in power and presence, Desira can do nothing but stand frozen.
アストラエルは去る。
Astrael disappears into the void.
静寂の中、ふと一瞬の記憶がよぎる。
In the silence, a fleeting memory crosses the space.
若き日のアストラエルとリリス。
A younger Astrael… and Lilith.
彼女たちに、何があったのか。
What once happened between them?
そして――
And then—
闇と同化しかけたミレアは、いったいどうなってしまうのか。
What will become of Mirea, now half-claimed by darkness?
物語は、さらに深い深淵へと進んでいく。
